Dr. John W. Rittinghouse is a senior security and management
executive with over 25 years of experience. His areas of expertise include all
facets of Information Technology and Information Security and Assurance. He is a
globally recognized expert in security and a well known author of many
books on security, software development and program management.
Organizations Dr. Rittinghouse has worked with include many of the Fortune 500,
including Bowne, Compaq Computer, Cable and Wireless, Exodus Communications,
Wyse, Nokia, Boeing, Allstate, AIG, and many others. Dr. Rittinghouse has served
as Chair of both the FCC Network Reliability and Interoperability Council (NRIC)
Cybersecurity Group and the Network Computing Technologies Group and currently
sits on several corporate boards. Dr. Rittinghouse has served as an
independent security consultant, assisting commercial and federal clients like
the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Commerce, and many
others in determining risk and establishing policies for
mitigation of potential threats, assessing software products, re-engineering
business processes and performing due dilligence for many investment entities.
